It has been 15 years since the brand was launched.
Trends and times are clearly changing, and I think the last two years in particular have been a time of great change in many ways.
It's fair to say that we are currently living in a moment of various changes in the way we work, interact with others, our lifestyle habits, the way we spend our leisure time, and even our fashion - some of which we have been forced into, some of which we have noticed, some of which have come about without us realizing, or which we have come up with in response to changes in our environment.
When I looked back on my short past through the brand Cisei, I realized that I had spent a time without much change. I was so busy with the routine of coming up with new ideas, holding exhibitions for vendors, and producing after receiving orders that I overlooked or put off many things.
Compared to 15 years ago, the internet has developed to a degree that is incomparable. New business styles such as e-commerce are based on the internet, and social media has made it possible to shorten the distance between people and easily communicate with others. It is now possible to communicate comfortably even while overseas, almost free of charge.
In light of this, we have once again considered what Cisei should do.

This is a completely different service from the professions of craftsmen and designers that we have offered up until now, so we are quite nervous about whether we will be able to do it well and satisfy everyone, but we would be happy if you would come and see us.

We create our products entirely in our own workshop, utilizing materials and manufacturing techniques that are not used in mass-produced products.

The brand name Cisei is the Italian pronunciation of his real name, Tomoo, with the necessary h added to the original spelling, restoring it to the exact form of his signature, and expressing his passion as a craftsman for creating things.
